How to Fix the Six common problems that will SCREW UP your healthy smile! | Part 2 of 6.

Common Problem #2:
Simple tooth sensitivity can turn into your worse nightmare—
How to prevent it now!

“70% of people who have dental pain don’t do anything about it. Ignoring it will ensure that they’ll need Root Canals in the next 6 months!”
Tooth sensitivity may seem like a little nuisance that you’ll take care of later, but if you wait too long, you’ll guarantee yourself a root canal or two in the next 6 months.

I’ve been a dentist for quite some time now and what I have noticed about patients who need root canals is that they haven’t been to the dentist for about a year or more.

All of sudden, they come in right away and want to fix a filling or get a filling—Something is wrong that makes them overly excited to get fillings.

But to their surprise I recommend a root canal.

They politely tell me that their last dentist never told them they needed a root canal. I follow up by asking them how long it has been since they were told that they needed a filling and they usually reply, “Well, about 10 months ago…”

Isn’t that grand! Cavities, for the most part, don’t go away on their own, they only get bigger and bigger and bigger—Too big and you’ll need a root canal!

I see patients all the time who have tooth sensitivity and they put off getting that one filling just to save a measly $40 to $60 co-payment.

To their surprise, they end up spending a lot more than $40 for a root canal!

That just doesn’t make sense!

At any rate, if your teeth are sensitive to cold, hot or sweet sugary snacks or drinks, then you have to call my office right now and schedule an appointment.

These are early signs of tooth decay which only gets worse if left untreated—You can ignore it, but then again, getting 3 root canals doesn’t seem like a nice way to spend your Saturday morning—Does it?

It’s my job as a dentist to tell people what’s going on with their dental health and if you have tooth sensitivity—Get it checked ASAP!
